Zerodha Review 2026: Pricing, Kite, Coin and Verdict

Hands-on editorial review of Zerodha: what Kite does well, where support frustrates, and who should (and shouldn't) open an account.

By LetsInvest Research Desk · Updated 13 Sept 2026

Zerodha pioneered Indian discount broking and still sets the price anchor: ₹0 delivery, ₹20 intraday/F&O. Kite remains the most dependable trading frontend during volatile sessions, and Varsity is the best free investing education in India.

Weak spots

₹200 opening + ₹300/year AMC (rivals are free), no advisory layer for nervous beginners, and support that slows exactly when markets are wild. Coin's demat-form mutual funds also confuse some SIP investors.

Verdict

Rating: 4.6/5. The default choice for self-directed investors. Beginners wanting maximum hand-holding should also trial Groww. Full fee table: Zerodha broker page.
