Privacy policy

We collect the minimum needed to run a research site. No accounts, no ad profiles, no data sale — ever.

What we collect

  • Page views: URL, referrer and an anonymous session hash — used for aggregate “most read” stats.
  • Anonymous funnel analytics: when you use the quiz, playbooks or comparison tools, which step you reached — no answers, no numbers you type — to improve the flows.
  • Affiliate clicks: timestamp, placement, referrer and a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP (we never store raw IPs).
  • Calculators: run entirely in your browser. Inputs never leave your device.

What we don't collect

No user accounts, no names, emails, PAN or financial holdings. We can't leak what we don't have.

Third parties

  • Google Analytics (if enabled) — governed by Google's policy; block it freely, the site works without it.
  • Brokers you click through to — their privacy policies apply from the redirect onward.

Cookies

The public site sets one anonymous cookie (li_sid) — a random ID with no login, no profile, kept 30 days and stored only as a SHA-256 hash — so aggregate stats can tell “one visit” from “ten”. No ad or tracking cookies, ever. The admin area uses a single signed session cookie.
