Broker pricing changes

Broker fees move quietly — an AMC here, a per-order charge there. We keep a running diary of every change we record, with the date and the broker's own page as proof. As far as we know, nobody else publishes this.

How this diary stays honest

The same record powers the history table on every broker review.

1. We re-read every pricing page, monthly

On the 1st of each month we go back to every official broker pricing page behind our tables and compare it with what we have. Pages that haven't moved get a fresh reviewed date.

2. Clear moves go up straight away

When a charge has plainly moved — say ₹20 became ₹25 — we update it, mark it verified, and note it here with a “Monthly check” badge.

3. Tricky ones wait for a person

Slab pricing, plan menus and pages we can't read go to the research desk. If we're not sure, we don't publish.

No changes yet

Nothing has moved since we started watching. Current charges live on each broker review and the brokerage comparison — the moment something moves, it lands here with its date and source.

Pricing-change FAQs

How do you spot price changes?

On the 1st of every month we re-read every official broker pricing page behind our fee tables and compare it with our records. Straightforward moves — a flat fee going ₹20 to ₹25, say, or a free charge turning paid — are updated right away and logged here. Complicated slabs and multi-plan menus always wait for a person to read them properly first.

How fast do changes appear here?

Straightforward moves show up within days of our monthly review spotting them; trickier ones as soon as the desk has verified them by hand. Every entry carries its date and the broker's own page, so if we ever get one wrong, the correction lands here just as visibly.

What if you can't read a broker's page?

Some pages block automated reading. Those stay on a manual verification schedule instead — they're never quietly marked as verified, and their rows keep the “Confirming” badge until a person has checked them.

Should I still confirm before opening an account?

Yes. This diary tells you nothing moved since our last review, but brokers can change prices any day. Treat it as an early-warning record, and always confirm on the linked official page before funding an account.
