Gold directory

Gold mutual funds, with their sources

Gold fund-of-funds hold a listed gold ETF, so you can SIP from ₹100 a month without a demat account. Every published figure below was read from the AMC's own scheme page, with the “as on” date shown next to the number.

How to read this directory

  • You pay two layers of cost. A fund-of-fund charges its own expense ratio on top of the underlying ETF's. The underlying row names the ETF so you can weigh the stack, not just the headline TER.
  • Direct vs regular is not cosmetic. The regular plan pays a distributor and costs more every year. Where the AMC's page states the plan, the TER row says which one it is; where it does not, follow the footer link and check before comparing.
  • Deliberately absent here: returns. Past returns are marketing's favourite number and they change with the gold price, so this directory shows none — the AMC's page publishes them daily. NAV closes for these schemes are shown on the gold decision engine as stored AMFI end-of-day rows with their own date and source, never as a live price.
  • No “best gold fund” badge. Sorting is by a factual attribute you choose — assets, published expense ratio or name — and says so on screen.

Want the ETF directly?

Buying the ETF yourself removes the fund-of-fund's expense layer, but it needs a demat account, a broker, and manual buys during market hours — which is also why a plain SIP is not possible. The trade-off is convenience versus one cost layer.

The Gold Hub's calculators project what a monthly gold investment grows to at an assumed return you set, and the comparison matrix puts all seven routes — 14 dimensions — side by side.

Schemes are listed in alphabetical order of the AMC's own scheme names; inclusion is not a recommendation and the list is not exhaustive. Hub framework facts reviewed 2026-09-20; per-scheme figures carry their own verification dates. None of this is live market data, and the stored AMFI NAV closes shown on the decision engine are business-day rows with their own dates, not a price feed. Before acting, confirm the current position on the AMC's page or with your adviser, and see our methodology.
