Overview

HDFC runs two rails: legacy full-service InvestRight with research and advisory, and the HDFC Sky discount app with flat ₹20-per-order pricing, free opening and US-stock investing.

Best for: HDFC Bank customers wanting a flat-₹20 app with an advisory upgrade path.

Pros & cons

What we like

  • Sky: simple ₹20 flat F&O and delivery with free opening
  • Research, baskets, MF, bonds and NPS under one roof
  • US-stock investing plus Open API and algo tools

Watch out for

  • InvestRight percentage slabs need tariff confirmation
  • ₹20 minimum per order punishes tiny trades
  • AMC and DP schedules split across Bank and Sky pages

Our verdict
Sky is competitive for F&O; treat InvestRight costs as confirm-first until the tariff is parsed.
