Margin Pledge
Use your holdings as collateral for trading limits.
Pledging earmarks your shares/ETFs with the broker via CDSL/NSDL so they count as margin — you keep ownership and dividends, but can't sell pledged units without unpledging first. Each pledge/unpledge costs ~₹20–30 plus GST per ISIN.
