How to use this hub
Read in order the first time. Revisit single chapters as checklists before you trade.
- 1. Start here. Charts → trend → candlesticks. Skip indicators until those three feel boring.
- 2. Add one weapon. Moving averages or RSI — not both at once. Log 20 paper trades per chapter.
- 3. Price the trade. Every setup ends at the brokerage calculator: break-even first, targets second.
Hub FAQ
The questions every beginner asks before chapter one.
Do I need maths or coding for technical analysis?
No. You need trend definition, support/resistance and one momentum read (RSI). Everything in this hub is taught with eyeball rules first — indicators only confirm what structure already says.
Should beginners start with intraday or swing charts?
Swing (daily/weekly). Intraday adds speed, costs and expiry pressure that punish inexperience. Learn entries on daily charts first; intraday is the same skills played 10x faster.
Is technical analysis enough on its own?
It times entries and manages risk; it doesn't replace knowing what you own. Pair chart levels with position sizing, costs (brokerage + STT + GST) and a reason to exit before you enter.
How much does each trade really cost?
More than brokerage: STT, exchange charges, SEBI fees, stamp duty, DP charges on selling, plus 18% GST. Run your exact trade through our brokerage calculator before sizing up.

Put the chapters to work
Analysis ends in a decision, and a decision runs in task order: screen for candidates, compare the shortlist, then track what you own. Each step has a tool waiting.
01
Screen for candidates
The Funds Hub filters every AMFI-registered scheme by category, AMC, plan, AUM, TER and trailing returns; the stock screener runs the same job on filed financials — scale, profitability, quality, leverage — for the covered Nifty-50.
Open the Funds Hub
02
Compare the shortlist
Put up to three funds side by side — trailing metrics, minimum investment, the Direct-vs-Regular fee drag and an overlap read — or two to four companies on the difference-highlighted stock compare.
Compare funds
03
Track what you own
The Portfolio X-Ray reads a CAS PDF or transactions CSV entirely in your browser — allocation, TER-weighted cost drag, a seven-rule health check — and links each fund to its scheme page. The watchlist holds the shortlist you have not bought yet.

Prefer prose? The guides library and the glossary follow the same task order — start with what a SIP is, direct vs regular plans, and how to get your CAS statement.
