Editorial checklist
Headlines are someone else's reading. These lists walk the primary documents — a results filing, a fund's own factsheets — one question at a time.
Results-season 8-point
8 questions
For a stock's quarterly results — answer against the filing itself, not a summary of it. The counter is a progress count, not a score — nothing here rates a stock or a fund.
Make your own list
One question per line. Your lists live in this browser's storage on this device — clearing site data clears them, and nothing is ever uploaded.
What this calculator answers
A checklist is a reading discipline, not a verdict: the built-in results-season list walks the actual filing (revenue quality, margin direction, debt, promises vs delivery), and the mutual-fund list walks both factsheets (TER, holdings, churn, manager, benchmark). Tick items as you go; the counter shows how much of the list you have answered.
How it is calculated
Pick a list, answer each item against the source document, and tick it. Custom lists are created from one item per line and are editable per browser. Nothing leaves your device.
The tool structures reading; it does not evaluate any stock or fund, and a fully ticked list is not a recommendation.
Common questions
Where are my checklists saved?
In this browser's local storage, on this device only. Clearing site data or switching browsers starts fresh — the site never receives your answers.
Is the answered counter a score?
No. It counts how many items you have ticked. What each answer means for a decision is yours to judge; the tool never rates a stock or a fund.
Can I edit the built-in lists?
The built-ins stay fixed so they mean the same thing every results season. Duplicate one into a custom list to edit it freely.
Is this investment advice?
No. It is a note-taking aid for reading primary documents — the filing, the factsheet — instead of headlines about them.
