GTT (Good-Till-Triggered) Order
A standing order that waits days or months for your price.
Good-Till-Triggered orders rest with the broker (up to a year at most brokers) and fire only when the trigger hits. Ideal for buy-the-dip plans and target-based exits without watching screens — but corporate actions can invalidate them, so review after splits/bonuses.
Example
Set a GTT to buy Nifty ETF if it falls 8%, and forget the terminal for a month.
