Stock Broking
Market Order
Buy/sell immediately at the best available price.
A market order executes right now against the best bid (sell) or offer (buy) in the order book. You get certainty of execution but not of price — in thin or fast-moving scrips the fill can slip meaningfully from the last-traded price you saw.
Example
You market-buy 100 shares showing ₹1,000 — thin offers fill you at ₹1,003 average.
