Trading Account
The account you use to place buy/sell orders.
Your trading account with a broker is where orders are placed; on settlement, shares move between your trading account and demat account, and money moves to/from your linked bank account. Most brokers open trading + demat together.
Example
Selling shares intraday only touches the trading account; delivery sell debits the demat.
