Brokerage uses each broker's listed fee (min(flat, % × order) at your order size, same rule as the quiz and rate-my-broker). Statutory per-trade stack: STT per the Finance Act 2026, NSE transaction charges, SEBI ₹10/crore, buy-side stamp, the broker's own DP per delivery sell (half your delivery orders count as sells), GST 18% on brokerage + exchange + SEBI + DP. AMC follows the BSDA slabs to ₹10L holdings, then the broker's rate; opening is spread over 5 years. Commodity is an MCX estimate. Rows marked estimate have a missing fee leg and exclude it — figures use currently listed (possibly unverified) data.
Methodology sources: NSE — SEBI turnover fees, STT and other levies · Zerodha charges (exchange/DP/BSDA tables) · SEBI BSDA circular (Jun 2024).
Each broker runs your pattern — orders per month × 12, at your average order size — through the same per-trade statutory stack as the brokerage calculator, adds the BSDA-adjusted AMC and the opening fee spread over 5 years, and sorts by annual total. Brokers with a missing fee leg for your pattern are marked estimate and sort last.
Four delivery and eight options orders a month at ₹50,000 an order with ₹2 lakh holdings costs about ₹15,100 a year at a ₹0-delivery discount broker — roughly ₹3,800 of it brokerage and the rest the statutory stack. Enter your own pattern to rank all 31 brokers by annual total.
Each broker runs the pattern — monthly orders × 12 at the average order value — through the per-trade statutory stack (STT per the Finance Act 2026, NSE transaction charges, SEBI ₹10/crore, buy-side stamp, the broker's own DP per delivery sell, 18% GST), adds the BSDA-adjusted AMC and the opening fee ÷ 5, and sorts by annual total. A missing fee leg excludes that leg and marks the row an estimate.
NSE rates; half the delivery orders count as sells for DP. Commodity is an MCX estimate. Figures use currently listed, possibly unverified fee rows — estimates, not contract notes.
The brokerage calculator prices one trade and the cheapest broker for a monthly order count. This simulator prices a whole year of your pattern — all five segments, AMC and opening included — and ranks every broker by annual total.
One of its fee legs for your pattern has no usable data, so that leg is excluded rather than guessed. The row still shows, but sorts after fully-known rows.
With BSDA on, AMC is free to ₹4 lakh of holdings and ₹100 a year at ₹4–10 lakh, then the broker's own rate above that. With it off, the broker's AMC applies whatever the holdings.
